JOB SUMMARY:
The HVAC Service Technician/Installer is responsible for residential and commercial installations, as well as, maintenance and diagnostic repair work.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- PM, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems
- Install furnace and air conditioning systems
- Maintain truck and inventory
- Possess attention to detail and a desire to see the job done right the first time
- Perform other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support and exhibit behavior consistent with the Service Philosophy of Matheny Heating & Cooling.
- Act with diplomacy as a representative of Matheny Heating & Cooling.
- Perform other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid St. Louis City/County HVAC technician license
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and push, pull, or carry heavy objects
- 100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organized
- Must have a neat appearance
- Friendly, personable, and responds to customer concerns
- Valid social security card, driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must agree to a background and drug check
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain truck and keep inventory well stocked
- Maintain other equipment and tools and ensure proper working order of company property
